In 2026, Adanac Valve Specialities is proudly celebrating its 40th anniversary. Founded in 1986 by Susan and Michael Ball, Adanac began as a small valve modification company built on engineering expertise, quality workmanship, and a commitment to customer service.

Over the past four decades, Adanac has grown into a respected specialist in customised valve modification, cleaning, and testing services. From its early expansion into cryogenic conversions, heating jackets, oxygen cleaning, and bellow-sealed modifications, the company established a reputation for quality and reliability that earned the trust of major manufacturers and end users worldwide. Adanac also became an industry leader in compliance, achieving PED certification in 2000 and helping define standards for valve modifications across Europe.

In 2015, Adanac joined AIV, creating new opportunities for growth through investing in people, equipment, and expanded capabilities. Since then, the company has continued to strengthen its position as a trusted provider of valve modification, cleaning, and testing services.

Today, Adanac operates from its facility in Woolpit, Suffolk. Our team employs more than 30 people and offers enhanced capabilities in valve testing, precision cleaning, engineering solutions, and custom modification services. We recently moved to a new 50,000-square-foot facility with AIV UK. This move positions us to expand our product and service offerings. Thanks to our continued success, both ADANAC and AIV invested in a State-of-the-Art facility. This investment further enhances our capabilities and service to the industry, paving the way for future growth.
